Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your safari begins with a morn­ing pick­up from your Nairo­bi loca­tion. We’ll head south across the Athi Plains, arriv­ing at the Amboseli gate in time for a mid-morn­ing game dri­ve as we head toward your lodge.

• After­noon: After a hot lunch and a brief rest, we set out for an exten­sive after­noon game dri­ve. This is the best time to see ele­phants cool­ing off in the marsh­es and preda­tors begin­ning their evening hunt.

• Evening: Enjoy din­ner with a view of the moun­tain (weath­er per­mit­ting) and an overnight stay at your select­ed camp or lodge.

• Meals: Lunch, Din­ner

Day 2: Sunrise Game Drive & Return to Nairobi

Start your day with an ear­ly morn­ing game dri­ve. This is the “Gold­en Hour”—the best time to cap­ture the icon­ic pho­to of ele­phants walk­ing in front of a snow-capped Mt. Kil­i­man­jaro.

• Mid-Morn­ing: Return to the lodge for a full break­fast before check­ing out. We will enjoy a final short game dri­ve while exit­ing the park.

• After­noon: Begin the dri­ve back to Nairo­bi, stop­ping for lunch along the way (at your own expense). You will be dropped off at your pre­ferred loca­tion in the late after­noon.
