Zanzibar
Zanzibar can be likened to a paradise in the Tanzanian archipelago of the Indian Ocean. The island is dawned by raised sands and sandstones, various types of limestone, coconut palms and small patches of indigenous forests. The wildlife include leopard (a variety peculiar to Zanzibar), civet cat, mongoose, two species of monkey, lemur, the African pig, forest duiker, pigmy antelope, about 20 species of bats, and 30 forms of snakes. The turquoise blue waters of the Indian Ocean are a stellar aesthetic to the 15 miles shoreline.
